In the first edition of Open Hours Merijn Hos discusses what brought him to this stage in his career, what keeps him going and drives him to excel.
Achieving an artistic signature that people respect and admire is the result of years of graft and craft. But how do you maintain those standards throughout a career? Especially when working commercially?
That’s exactly what Merijn Hos will reveal in the first edition of Open Hours. Since graduating in 2004, Merijn has thrived at the intersection of illustration, animation and installation art. His portfolio includes work for Apple, Nike, Red Bull, Down The Rabbit Hole and Wired Magazine, as well as many self-initiated projects.
During the course of this evening, moderator Steven van Lummel will get personal with Merijn as he discusses what brought him to this stage in his career, what keeps him going and drives him to excel.
